Today I’d like to take a look at the internet’s #1 sportsbook, Sportsbook.com. Phenomenal as they are in providing customers with top-notch support and features, I have struggled myself with their service and had my account unfairly shut down. Yet even with this in mind, I recommend Sportsbook.com to everyone (over 18) because they have made recent changes to
improve their services and reduce their fees. Let’s have a look at the number one sportsbook on the net.
Recently, Sportsbook.com dropped their deposit minimum from $50 to $20. I think this was an excellent move, as it should encourage more amateur players to give it a whirl. More than this, Sportsbook.com’s main pull comes from their superior bonus offerings. They routinely endorse offers like 50% deposit bonuses and referral incentives. Currently, they are running a 10% first-deposit bonus which is pretty standard. In addition, you get 5% on every deposit after that and 21% of every one of your referral’s deposits. Keep in mind that these guys are trained to take your money, and they will 
get the better end if you squander this generosity… so bet smart to protect your advantage!
Sportsbook.com provides the same spreads you see on ESPN.com and most major newspapers, so you know the lines are fair. But before we dwell into that, one of the first concerns is usually “how do you deposit and/or withdraw money?” While I have neglected their services for a while (I prefer Bodog Sportsbook!), checking up on their payment/withdrawal methods has revealed improvement. Finally, you can withdraw money for free once a month (as of June 2007). It really pained me before to see it so hard to get money from Sportsbook.com, but now it is available without fee via check or wire transfer once a month (otherwise $40 fee). Depositing is even easier. Deposits can be made fee-free by using a credit card (Visa & Mastercard accepted) or cash transfer.
The call-in support line at Sportsbook.com is typically very friendly. I recall getting a call after I had no activity on my account for 30 days and they gave me a FREE $10 deposit! This is the kind of generosity we love to see in a sportsbook. I have had my problems though, including a false claim that I had duplicate accounts that resulted in the disabling of my login. As I cannot expect that they do this with most customers, I
contend that they are a fair website and pay out on request.
The casino at SportsBook.com is comparable to their competition, and may even be a bit more user-friendly. The casino section links directly with your main account (as does poker), so it is very easy to play a couple hands of blackjack on the fly with a $1 minimum bet per hand. The poker section is quite easy to understand as well, but if you are looking to play poker online I would recommend a specialty dealer such as AbsolutePoker.net or PokerStars.net.
The design of SportsBook.com is very easy to maneuver, with sections labeled clearly on the top. There is a slight issue with the login process, as sometimes it doesn’t take, but other than that… they definitely checks out on its #1 sportsbook rating. If you are new to sports betting on the internet, the bonuses and incentives at SportsBook.com may just give you the edge you desire.

exact same thing happened to me. 6 months to get my withdrawl of $500 gave me a bullshit excuse everytime. first check was from a phony bank couldnt even cash it. what a hassle
Sportsbook is such a scam. They bounced a check to me for $2,000!! They made me send a copy of the bounced check…and that was two months ago. They claim to be investigating. STAY AWAY from this site. It is the absolute WORST and you can’t get your money if you win. Of course, your credit card gets charged before you can make a bet. Total fraud.

I just found out that my sportsbook.com check bounced today, and I’ve earned a bounced check fee from my bank as well. A phonecall to my bank revealed that the account from which the check was drawn had been closed. Zip Payments was the processor. I’m waiting for a response from sportsbook.com..
In the meantime, SportsBookReview.com shows the parent company to be Jazette Enterprises Limited…and it appears the whole family has a poor track record. Cross your fingers for me. It looks pretty shady from here.
Sportsbook.com is the worst site in term of cashouts and service. They take forever…MONTHS to process cashouts. This is ridiculous! This multi-million dollar company should compensate all of its loyal customers and this should never happen again. It should never take more than a couple weeks for a check to be sent through the mail, but with Sportsbook, its a crap shoot and you never know when you will recieve YOUR MONEY.
After almost 4 months I am still waiting for a valid check from Sportsbook.com. The first check they sent was returned as fraudulent. When I appealed to them, they had me jumping through hoops, sending copies of the check, the bounced check fees, verification of ID and whatever else they seemed to want to add each day to make the experience as painful as possible. There is no way in he11 they will ever see another dime of my money and I encourage anybody who is capable of placing a winning bet to put your money elsewhere. If you do happen to win and decide to cash out, it may be months of inconveniences before they consider sending you a check…..and that check might bounce.
I requested a payout from sportsbook.com in July. Not alot, alittle over $300. They quickly sent the check that later bounced. I called them and they said that because of the new government rules they needed me to varifiy I was who I said I was. They didnt do that when they took my money. They told me to do another withdrawl which I did and they later canceled. I did yet another withdrawl in August and am still waiting for that check, which will probably bounce as well. I AM WARNING ALL GAMBLERS STAY FAR FAR AWAY FROM SPORTSBOOK.COM THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF, BELIEVE ME.
i’ve been waiting over 3 months for 200 dollars never had problems before but they asked for my ID and utility bill shit so i sent it and they say they have it on file. i check my withdrawl history and they cancelled it so i withdrew again and they cancelled again. Comment by Matt is 100% my experience lately with them. I played with the in Feb and March; had no problems getting withdrawals (check arrived in less than a week, never bounced). I made a withdrawal in June and kinda forgot about it. One month later i get on the tech chat with them, “We need photo ID and utility bill”. I make a copy and email it to them same day. I get an email saying everything is good now.
So i make my withdrawal again. 6 weeks later i get the check from World Check (i think). Deposit it and it BOUNCES. I just got off the phone with Sportsbook.com and they say I need to go to the bank and mail it back to them so they can ‘investigate’. I ask if just the info off the check was sufficient and i email them. “We need the physical check before we will work your case”.
This is straight-up BULL. They just want to throw out the obstacles and hope eventually i’ll give up.
I like how they are so convenient on the deposits. Their phone staff is 24hours for Deposits ONLY, funds are withdrawn from my bank account the next day. Now withdrawals; phone support is business hours only and only takes 6 weeks to get a check now (and it bounces).
Sportsbook.com has bad reviews on sportsbookreview and i completely understand why now. My advice to anyone looking for a sportsbook; do NOT use sportsbook.com.
I also like how this page raves about them but all the comments are negative. Think that should tell all the readers something.
I am having the same issues, I have been trying to cash out since Aug 4th. I sent them the information they require and then they cancelled my cash out. The phone rep told me it was because the system had a glitch and cancelled 500 cash outs. He told me that if I cashed out again right away he would put me back in que where I was before.
It has now been almost three weeks and my cash out still says pending making me believe that the rep straight up lied to me and did not put me back in the que at all.
I have cashed out in the past and have had no problems, now I will never play on sportsbook.com ever again.
Same problem as everyone elso the just give you the run around. I have been trying to withdraw for 3 weeks and I haven’t gotten anywhere. I have faxed, E-mailed & live chatted with and still can’t get my money. I would avise closing your credit card account so they can’t do anymore damage.

ugghh.. i’m going through the same thing. i’ve had countless conversations with them to the point of having a daily chat to try and get some sort of update. it took me 6 – 8 weeks to get my check. i finally got the damn thing and deposited it. i didn’t think much of it until my bank called me to inform me of a bounced check and a $19 fee. now, i’m trying like hell to get another check from them as well as reimbursement of the fee. i can’t get a single update, other than the processor is working on it.. they have no idea what’s going on. and they keep asking me for a copy of my bank statement to see the $19 fee. I told them there’s no way in hell they are getting that when they already have a copy of my ID and a utility bill. they’re nuts if they think they’ll get a copy of my bank account when they just sent me a bad check. i keep telling them to just go to my bank’s website or call them and ask what the policy on bounced checks is. sportsbook.com is a shady, shady, shady company. i regret having ever used them and apparently is a hard lesson learned. Early last year I recieved a check from them which was good and up until March they seemed to be trustworthy but later as my deposits grew my withdrawals took longer until they finally stopped. Upon tracking where my payments had gone hoping to retrieve a few deposits, I found out that a company in Israel handles their deposits and the funds could not be reversed because they were third party transactions. Overall a very nasty site and a bad experience!
DON”T USE SPORTSBOOK. I did a withdrawal they bounced my check TWO TIMES! and never paid me after I’ve been contacting them for 2 months now. TOTAL SCAM SPORTSBOOK.
DO NOT USE THIS SITE. Requested withdrawal back in November. 2 bad checks. Now I am being told send the check to some guy in Miami and then they will credit my account (a month after I have already provided them a scan of the bad check and a letter from my bank). Site says they will refund credit cards, but that is total BS also as every time I ask they ignore the question.
I hadnt had any issues until recently.
They’ve just bounced a big check on me and their customer service response has been pathetic. Their ‘help’ reps can’t give you any kind of straight answer, they don’t reply to emails for weeks and generally make it feel like it’s my fault they owe me money!
Don’t use them
Do not use sportsbook.com if you ever want to collect when you win. You lose your money whether you win or lose.
Sportsbook will not pay you when you. To use them, would be throwing your money away. They will stretch you out for months when you try to collect and keep giving you excuses why they cant pay you until you finally give up.
Has anyone out there tried to file suit against them in order to collect?
RV, you cannot file a suit against them if you are living in the US as online gambling is still somewhat illegal.

Sportsbook used to be very good. Everything bad started around april/may of 2008. They simply just dont want to payout, makes you do all these things to discourage you from withdrawing, and then sends bounced checks. Just dont use them anymore
Sportsbook.com is a scam. Like everyone said, they make every little excuse to pay out. And the longer that take, the more of your winnings you spend because you’re frustrated and can’t do nothing with the money. I won 2000 from sports bets and tried cashing out but they made excuses about needing to submit documents, I did 4 times but to no avail. My fourth time was today, so I should hear a response tomorrow if approved. From that 2000, i lost 1000 to their scammed online casino. I played black jack and literally there was a period where they won 50 times and I won less than 5. And when I decided to raised my bets seeing that I lost so many in a row, they would still beat me. I also noticed the screen glitches alot like someone is watching waiting to change the cards on the fly. Total rip off. It’s just frustrating because their method of withdrawls are shameless. I hope I get approved tomorrow and withdraw my 1000, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they made another excuse.
Their online games are rigged. I just wish there was a way to prove it and lock them up. I know we cant get our money back, but them going to jail would suffice.

I sent 40.00 just to see how it went before I sent real money. They immediately took the money, closed the account for “security reasons he couldn’t discuss” and then said I had to send Tons of different documentations for consideration to possibly re- open my account. As long as they are a big site, they wiil come up #1 in searches and impulse buyers will deposit money. I’m going to report them to google.

Im just scared to send my ID and utility bill to someone who makes such a bill deal about paying us back and has no problem with our identity when we are depositing money in their account. Plus I dont have any utilities under my name, closet thing will be a bank statement but I already gave them all my bank info. Why do they need to know if its miy correct address when I request the money transfer to my bank and my bank has my correct address. This is fucking bullshit, I wish I knew were they resided at so I could personally see them.

I’ve been using sportsbook.com for about 5 years and I’m switching now to somewhere else. I’m having the same problems as everyone else, except that I’ve questioned why they ask for a copy of my ID to verify identity and to “make sure the ID number is clear and legible”. Am I missing something? What in the hell does my ID number do to prove who I am? Especially since they’re in another country!! Why can’t I black that out? Something’s fishy to me.
I usually only play during football season and I’d win a couple of hundred here and there. Never had a problem with them sending the money back to my card. This time I won $1100 and they won’t even let me take my initial deposit out on my card like they have before. They didn’t ask for any of this identifying information before- in the whole 5 years. I’m going with someone else and am just gonna request a withdrawal of the whole amount. I’ll keep after them as long as it takes and will never go back. I’m thinking I’m going to send them my ID and utility bill and sign up REAL fast for one of those identity theft prevention sites and alert all of the credit bureaus. If you’ve already given them a copy of your ID, I’d put a fraud alert on my credit file if I were you.

Just dont use Sportsbook.com, and dipute your deposit with your credit card, say it was stolen or something. If sportsbook ever do send the money you win! F@#K ‘EM

They got messed up with withdrawals when the president passed that new law for US players. I just requested a withdrawal for $2400 on Feb 11 and received the funds on Feb 18.
Wow. I got ripped off for 250.00 this guy is really a fool if he is promoting sportsbook.com. i am calling my credit card company and filing a claim. i am not sending these fuckers my information. They say they need a driver license and utility bill. I will stick with my local bookie. I am reporting this company to ICANN, so they will yank their rights to the domain name.
