NFL Week 15: Best Bets
Posted on December 14th, 2007 by Jim under Sports Bet BookHey there net fools, lets have a look at some of the more exciting match-ups this week in the NFL that are giving us favorable spreads
As you know, both wild-card races in the AFC and NFC are airtight at this point. And while Denver’s loss to the Houston Texans last night helped out the AFC picture a bit, things are still pretty crowded in both divisions as the fight for that coveted 2nd wild-card spot continues.
Game #1 - Baltimore Ravens (-4)
Ho boy, I am seeing some magic with the Baltimore Ravens playing on the road against the fierce Miami Dolphins squad. You have to wonder why the spread on this game is only four points. Sure, everyone hates on the Ravens now because they couldn’t pull out the win over New England and got absolutely stomped last week, but they’ve got their weapons (hello running game?) and a defense to match. They haven’t put out a team yet this season, expect that to happen in week 15.
Game #2 - Tennessee Titans (-4)
Do you see what I see? A playoff eligible Titans team against the 6 L’s in-a-row Chiefs. Granted, the Chiefs are playing at home, but come on now. Giving the Titans only 4 points is generous as line setters sometimes overlook the importance of being hungry for wins. The Titans are 1-4 in their last five, they need this one… and they get it on the road by two possessions.
Game #3 - Minnesota Vikings (-10)
A big spread goes to waste this week as the Vikings dominate the line in a romp of the Chicago Bears at home. Consider first that the Vikings are the best home-rushing team (at over 200 yds average!) in the entire NFL. This and the fact that the Bears are smelling defeat after being all but locked out of an NFC North appearance this season gives the Vikings the ten points they need on Monday Night. Prepare for some Chester Taylor - Adrian Peterson fireworks.
That’s it for this week…. Bet smart. Bet on:
